Where can I get this lamp socket?
« on: November 29, 2007, 09:55:57 PM »

Lamp is an ENH-3 with a GY 5.3 base, round pin. The socket and leads need to be rated for 10amps @ 250w. I need at least 10" leads. What's the difference between a gx 5.3 and gy 5.3 base?It looks like a gx base would work. I have found several sites with all kinds of sockets, but they don't list the lead wire lenghts.

That lamp base is the same as an ENX-5  probably the most popular overhead lamp out there.  Depending on the instrument looking at overhead parts my do the trick.  keep in mind most overhead sockes slide in from the top.

I have not ordered from here yet but I will in the next week or so. When I get the parts I can post how long the leads are. Seems to bee a mom and pop place with the tech answering the email, I got some good pricing and knowledgeable responses from him. parts@kmr.com
