Sorry Chris Hindle, you are banned from using this forum!
This ban is not set to expire.

Any ideas what's got the Gods of sound upset at me?
PS: Nothing has changed. I did log on OK,and after browsing a sew minutes, this showed up.
I thought it may have been part of Mac's ongoing boogy hunt....

I blame Canada. And the ghost of Ron Hebbard. ;)

It's probably a side effect of the measures Mac has had to apply to stop the spate of recent spammers.
Sometimes, blocking a range of IP addresses is what it takes to stop them, which obviously can risk blocking legitimate users too.
Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache has been effective in clearing the "ban", that worked for me when similar spam attacks were high a couple of years ago and I got caught in the crossfire.

I figured that was a good a reason as any. Guess I'll flush the cache, and see if that works.  Thanks.

I just had this happen with Firefox (Chrome was still OK)and cleared all history and cookies and ,well, everything.
It's probably just one specific thing but I didn't want to spend the time to figure it out.

Tried clearing the cache, nada. Cleared the cookies, and I'm back.....
This is a tough habit to be without....  Haha.
Now I just have to remember all my other passwords.......
Thanks guys.

We don’t ban IP addresses for just this reason. I’m glad you worked it out.

For what it’s worth, you can set Firefox on Windows to clear cookies every time you close it. I’ve been using it this way for years. I also have all the other persistence-related settings set to keep as little as possible. I’m happy with this arrangement. Just don’t close it in the middle of your McMaster order or it will forget all those screws you searched for ???
