Wireless DMX Question
« on: February 06, 2024, 01:18:51 PM »

I am a theater teacher and already have a wired DMX system setup, but I am thinking of adding some DMX fixtures run wirelessly. If I get a wireless transmitter and receivers, can I plug the transmitter into the last fixture of my daisy chain and then put a receiver on one of my new fixtures to run it wirelessly? (If this is possible, then I would prefer this method, so that I can have the majority of my lights being controlled by a direct-to-controller wired connection.) Or do I have to plug in the transmitter directly to the DMX controller and put the receiver on the first fixture in the daisy chain (which would in turn make all of my lights depend on the wireless connection)?
