Yamaha CL external analog preamp

Hi
Anybody knows if there is a chance to use external hardware preamp/ ch eq, for example Midas XL 42´s on the single input channel on Yamaha´s CL series consoles, using Omni´s as an insert, after the Rio-box. Not used with any slot cards etc.
