DMX splitter
« on: September 03, 2023, 04:05:54 PM »

Hi there,

I am looking for multiple units of UL or ETL certified DMX splitters with as many ports as possible, preferably with screw terminals and DIN rail. Any other US recognized certification would be fine as well. CE definitely not...

There's an incredibly expensive high-end ETC Response line of splitters and the also quite expensive Philips Showline splitter but considering that I need 200+ ports, those are beyond my client's budget.

Thanks for your help in advance!

How many universes you need?  There has got to be a better design.

Blizzard makes an economical unit then there is always Alibaba.

Doug Fleenor is always the answer for any weird DMX thing imaginable. I have some 0-10 volt converters on their way as we speak.

What’s the use case scenario here? 200 splits on a single universe seems pretty extreme. How many splits are actually needed per universe?

Brian same question I asked.  I wondered if someone was confused on how DMX works.

Possibly some weird art installation or maybe an architectual thing. Lots of lights all doing basically the same thing. Also one 10 meter string of RGB LED tape takes up one universe. Maybe its a big LED tape thing?
