Is there a Pheonix to xlr passthrough rack panel?
« on: March 31, 2023, 10:53:12 AM »

Something like those XLR to XLR passthroughs that the home studio guys use? I have like 20 pair already terminated in pheonix connectors left over from an old but quality install that I would love to use for some dry lines. If a simple pheonix to xlr panel exists that would be awesome, because otherwise I'm soldering stuff that is in an awkward position.

Ideally something like this, but with Pheonix inputs on the rear.

Bullwinkle: This is the amplifier, which amplifies the sound. This is the Preamplifier which, of course, amplifies the pree's.

NEW LINKYTHING

Get connectors and a predrilled panel and make your own easily enough.

Keep in mind all Pheonix connectors are not inter-changable, some are close, some will not even mate.

Yes -you beat me to that issue.

But Tim, such things have always been custom projects -easily built of course, but the pinouts on the phoenix connectors varies by manufacturer so it would be a difficult part for manufacturers to stock due to all the differences.
