Recently purchased a pair of the G3 iem systems and both receivers have a lot of hiss when set in stereo mode. The hiss is persistent only when audio is flowing through, but it doesn't matter what audio is passing through, whether a mic, instrument of playback mp3. When set in focus (Is this the same as mono?), the hiss is non-existent. Monitoring with our project in stereo is important because we incorporate a lot of panning and need to monitor the stereo space as much as possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Sennheiser IEM G3 systems have a pretty high noise floor. It’s just the way they are. Shure PSM900 is much quieter than Sennheiser, but Sennheiser has better stereo separation.

What level are you driving the transmitters at, you want to run them fairly high.
