Do you know if there is a way to link two key panels together to act as an extension of the first one so that the someone can view all of the keys at once and talk on one mic input? I would like the second panel to basically be an extension of the first panel with channels 29-56 essentially.
-- this method only really works with P-P so
put all of your P-P on the second panel and party lines on the main
-- setup both panels (Main and second) with similar names like bob. and bob,
(minor difference)
-- create a group which has both panels in it as members and name this group BOB
-- this is the key you put on everyone else's panel
-- when they call, the audio will be sent to both panels
(keep the master down on the second panel)
-- when you reply to them using the reply key on your main panel it will go to them
-- It also won’t let you call them using the second panel button,
to do that do the following
-- enter all of your p-p on the shift page of your first panel
(Open both main shift and second and drag keys to shift)
-- enter an additional remote key command on each button on the second panel
to remote push the corresponding shift button on the main panel.
NOW it will seem to be linked - after only 2 hours of programming
better…If you are using GN Mics just stack the panels and have the mics together.
Remember to put both panels in the same room code so you don’t get feedback
