What are your favorite ways to waste time during an excruciatingly long tech rehearsal where you have nothing to do but wait for the director to make art?
Some of mine:
Surf PSW and the DUC
Post pics of the rehearsal on FB
Finish reading the script
Go into preview and finish programming the rest of the show
Try to decipher the nonsensical gibberish that the lighting department is yammering about on coms
Catch a power nap
Work on paper work for the next show
Look for/apply for another job
Weigh the pros and cons of updating some kind of important piece of gear or software during the rehearsal
