Penn State Stadium
« on: February 18, 2017, 07:30:39 AM »

The family and I were at PSU to see the Harlem Globe Trotters last weekend. Parked right outside the stadium (South end). On the way back to the car as soon as we got outside the Bryce Jordan Center everyone walking to the lot kept saying who is in concert tonight?  I had to smile as I knew someone was running the Danley system and they were playing a tune i was not familiar with but had a good bit of low end. As we got closer the entire stadium was rattling on the outside.  Must say pretty impressive.

I do sound for a variety of PSU football events and have been in the stadium during games.  It sounds great in there although with a full house and seated across the field imho they could open it up a little more during games.   It's a Clair install.  I think there is a tech there from Clair that makes sure the DJ doesn't get carried away as they often do.

I saw them 1.5yrs ago and was impressed.

They took the studio sound and did a really good job of doing it live.
