DN9650 and M32
« on: October 11, 2016, 04:30:00 PM »

I have an M32 as my FOH and I am running into the problem of 16 outputs not being enough. I do not use Ultranet so I was thinking about using those as additional outputs. I also have an X32C I use for broadcast mixing and all of my inputs and outputs are thru 2x S16

So the way they system is set up is

S16 ----S16-----M32 ------X32C

I am wondering if I added a DN9650 if It could break out the AES50 signal to Dante from both the inputs of the S16’s and the 16 outputs and 16 ultranet outputs of the M32, So it would look like

 S16 ----S16---DN9650-----M32 ------X32C
                         |
                       Dante

Or an even better config might be taking the 3rd ASE50 line out of the DN9650 and running it straight to broadcast.

                    X32C
                        |
S16 ----S16---DN9650-----M32
                        |
                     Dante

Will the M32 still be able to have control over the gain of the S16’s?

Will the DN9650 give me a fully flexable and routable digital patch bay?

Will the DN9650 be able to convert the ultranet outputs to Dante My understanding is once they are sent thru ASE50 they are just like any other signal?
