Well the iLive was brought to the community in Mid 2006.  I suspect that a number of the ones for sales have made that production company some money back and they are looking to expand.

On a side note, I see more X32's popping up for-sale than any other Mid-Level/Regional Pro desk (iLive, LS9 types).

I like my X32 but will probably sell it off and get a Midas M32R, primarily for size.  I'll keep my X32 Rack as it's the perfect mixer/controller for our expanding EDM market.

I love my ilive. Its getting old though. They stopped updates and the ipad software is no where near where it could be. Its a great sounding desk and easy to grasp right away.

I've had my iLive for exactly a year now, and it does everything I could possibly want, with loads of DSP left over. My plans include: a 2nd system for FOH/Monitors, Multi-track recording and Waves plug-ins. I've also heard faint rumblings that something new may be coming soon (in a few weeks) for the iLive's. Hopefully it's not a replacement.

The GLD has gotten better over time.  I suspect it is close enough for many applications, especially with the price difference.

Given the number of sold x32 units I'm not surprised that it is more visible on the buy and sell market compared to other consoles.

Given its low price I also think that a few noobs bought it and had trouble understanding and using it and perhaps gave up too early...?

Or are "upgrading" to the M32(R).
