I completely agree, but I also like to know what I'm getting before I install software. I may or may not find the software useful in my business, if I do then my clients will actually be the ones who pay for my working copy.
Im waiting for the forthcoming Prosound road test. I suspect it will tell us a lot more.
Having used TDA, Im considering getting some of the APL1s. Im certain they would be wonderful tool to set up your studio monitors, but Im not sure if it will do any better than TDA + Systune and some Lake controllers in a large live sound application.
