Looking for a Hazer (under $1k)
« on: June 10, 2012, 01:46:20 PM »

Purchasing for an installed setup, seating for 350 and a ceiling height from 20-30 feet. Haze is for showcasing moving lights during live music performances. Client is freaked by the price tag of a pro level machine ($2k martins and such) but calms down under a thousand bucks. Thoughts? I need dmx control, and water based fluid is desired.

I'm leaning towards a Chauvet Huricane Haze 2D but am very open to other models.

I've had bad luck with most cheaper hazers, but this one (for under $1k) actually works well and is fairly dependable:

A Radiance is a bit over your budget but is well worth the cost.  I will never buy anything else.

In that range, I don't anything can touch a Radiance.  It is just over your budget slightly, and worth every penny.
