Ethercon video adapters

Hello All,

I am wondering if there is anyone that makes a VGA or RGBHV Cat5 adpaters WITH Ethercon.

I have used magentas and Hall Research but have not found any of those with Ethercon I/O

I don't think any company has because of the expense. Non of the manufacturers have caught on to the fact the VGA over CAT5 is a great application for the rental/staging business.

Jason,

From what I can see that has the standard RJ45 jacks on it.

I am looking for something that specifically has Ethercon connectors on it.

I've been working on a design to make our magenta units road worthy. I'm thinking a clamp mount box with ethercon in and out, powercon in/out and 5 wire BNC out.

Anyone know of an off the shelf box that is big enough for magenta cat5 to vga box, power supply and cables with atleast 9 knock outs.

I would check with the guys a Radial Engineering. They make bullet proof audio direct boxes that are close in size. Track down their metal shop.
