Taking one for the team, Rain/spoof?
« on: June 10, 2024, 03:45:51 PM »

This is dedication. Anyone know who this may be? Pooch? Seems like a very temporary solution.
Seen this going around FB. Thoughts?

For a light drizzle, looks like a fine solution to me.

Add a wide brimmed hat and you're golden(no wet neck).

Is that a real poncho . . . I mean is that a Mexican poncho or is that a Sears poncho?  ;)

hmmm... I would think someone providing this much gear would have some type of tent for an outdoor event.  And the tent would be stipulated in the contract (no tent, no service).  And I would provide the tent.

I seem to recall reading about this picture some time ago.
IIRC there was a confetti part of the show so the riggers dressed up FOH like this so they could clean it off the FOH gear easily afterwards.
Put up plastic.
BOOM.
Take it off.

Something like that.

I guess he has to stand up regularly to clear the water that pools up ?
Cute, but certainly not practical.
Chris.
Edit: In the case of Helge's confetti, OK, that would work.

Judging from the sky in the background I would go with a rain issue.
