Title: DMXis setups
Post by: Frank Bond on June 30, 2011, 04:31:33 pm
I'm new to DMXis. I am about to start using it for a single act.

I'd like to hear about successful applications of the the program and what
your setup is, computer, fixtures and how you use it.

Cheers,
Frank

I'm using it with the audio trigger on 12 LED par cans (8 par 56, 4 par 38)...

I bought the dual footswitch so I have switching between scenes and banks depending on if I press and hold the switch or just tap it.

it works good for what it is... however, it does take a bit of getting used to as well as is missing some features on typical consoles (flash, a easy to get to fade to black, etc)

Hi Jason,

Did you ever start using the midi keyboard for bank selection?

Cheers,
Frank

No, I've been too lazy to try it.
