Title: A Cheap, Useable, NCVT
Post by: Dennis Wiggins on October 16, 2017, 04:34:17 pm
After trying 3 'budget' testers over the last few years, I finally found an NCVT that could actually detect which side of a receptacle (or which wire) is the 'hot' one.   All the others could only tell you that "somewhere near" there was voltage, without any resolution.

The sensitivity is adjustable.

The under $15 Sperry Volt Sensor model VD6505 can do it!
