Title: Can not see the Archive forum
Post by: Justice C. Bigler on October 23, 2011, 10:37:48 pm
When I am logged in, I can not see the old Archive forums. I get the message:

The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.

If I log out, then the Archive section and the child boards appear fine.

If I delete my group memberships, I can see the Archive. If I go back to SR forums, then I get locked out. I guess the Archive isn't part of the SR Forums group?

I think this is fixed now.

I haven't been able to find the archives, just read this, logged out and there they were.
Apparently it's still broken?

Steve, you are using the Membergroup "Lab Lounge" to limit the forums that are visible to you when you are logged in. If you are a member of a Membergroup you will only see the groups you are a member of, and the Site Rules Forum.

Hi Mac,

I've had almost the same thing happen to me. Except, when I log out, I see the archive, but there appears to be only one post in it.

Should I leave every group that i'm a member of so I can see all groups? When adding groups to be a member, I don't see the archives as an option. I also had an archive link that Google search directed me to that I couldn't view. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious... it's just not obvious to me!  :) Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Mac,

Now I can see the archives... I must be doing something wrong, so I'll check how I've been accessing PSW...

As Rosana Dana Ana said "Never  mind..."

Thanks,
Bob

I just checked, and all the membergroups should be able to see all the archives. If you don't want to limit what shows up on the home page, you don't have to join membergroups. It is just a way to neaten up the page by removing forums you won't ever want to read.
