With the solar storm for today and tomorrow. I had a question on this being a magnetic storm and impacts transformers and saturation. How would this affect the magnetic pickups on guitars or dynamic microphones or ribbon microphones?

Most of the solar wind of charged particles get diverted by the Earth's magnetic flux lines and toward the poles. Extreme fields can punch through the protective magnetic shell, but I am not aware of observable events around small devices.
Large power distribution systems, and satellites are another story.

At any rate, it gives us a good excuse if things go haywire! ;D
