Title: Community MX10
Post by: Weogo Reed on October 30, 2011, 09:54:44 PM
Hi Y'all,

Anybody heard the Community MX10?

22#, 1.25" HF exit, crossover at 1000Hz.

Use would be modest-level monitor on lower-budget folk-music stages.

Thanks and good health,  Weogo

Hello Weogo,

I thought I'd resurrect your thread to see if others had experiences to share, and also to share a link with a real world review:  http://www.churchproduction.com/go.php/article/first_look_community_mx10_stage_monitor

I should point out that the dispersion is actually 100 degrees conical for the 10", not 115 as this article states.  I think the 8" is 115.

I had been using FBT Verve 8m for small monitors, but they're being replaced by the Verve 108, which will be non-coax and not a wedge.  I think the mx10 might be just the ticket.
