I found this connector inside an old Shure wireless receiver. Tried to look on Google but no luck.

That's what it reminds me of as well - like what used to be used on car radios. Haven't seen one of those in a LONG time!

I just saw one of those inside a Shure UA874 antenna. It's a lot smaller than the old car radio connector.

The car antenna connector was known as a Motorola connector, it is clear from previous comments the photo is not that, it is a much smaller connector.

This is not the Motorola connector used in car radios of yesteryear. Those are a couple of inches in length and about .25" OD, and designed for RG58 size coax.
This is a miniature connector used for short internal interconnects. It's less than 1/2" long and designed for RG-174 size coax. I can't recall the name, nor can I find it on the web (have to send an email). IIRC, although it is a coaxial connector, it does not have a true impedance rating.

Correct, my response was to the remark about the car antenna connector, not the one in question.

Seems to get even more interesting.
I am aware of this connector because my friend sent me an old Shure U4 receiver with its rear BNC connectors heavily dented which smashed the whole RF cable assemblies.
It's impossible to find the connector nor the whole replacement from Shure. Maybe I shall tell him to leave it as it is and buy new and better system instead.

How long a cable does it need to be? The UA874 antenna uses a bulkhead BNC to one of those plugs, but only about an inch of wire.

I think one is 13" and 17" for another.
