Title: Flight Case Manufacturer in Canada
Post by: Chris Poynter on January 14, 2020, 12:23:36 PM
Hey everyone, I'm looking for a reputable flight case manufacturer in CANADA who can make me rolling cases for my JBL SRX 818sp subs.

Mods—feel free to move this to a different board if I'm posting in the wrong place.  :)

Thanks everyone!

FWIW, making your own isn't a huge undertaking, so if you have access to one to use as a template of sorts you can save some serious cash. The most specialized tool in the whole process is a rivet gun which you can get for $30, and parts are abundant online. We recently did this for some projector cases and came in at 1/3 the cost of having a local shop do it (even factoring in labor) and you'd never tell the difference.

Good idea!

Thanks for the tip. I actually just found Dinosaur Cases online and emailed them.

You're right about L&M; however, there doesn't seem to be an existing case for these specific subs so I think I have to go custom.

Just a thought: Canada's a pretty big place, and shipping can be expensive. The last time I had a one-off case built I found that the overall cheapest manufacturer was the one located close enough for pick-up.
