Title: Dealing with old school kf650e....flying
Post by: Andrew Klingensmith on March 20, 2014, 03:49:50 PM
Well..... I still have 8 units of the KF650e's and wondered how to get the most coverage/spl/throw out of them

I assume that means flying but how would you do it...in sets of 2? That is, would you hang 2, then hang 2 more below that (2 rows of 2)? Would this really give me much more then a ground stack of 2 or 3 per side on subs?

I am toying with replacing them but I don't know what can do what the 650's do for the money (affordable). I bought 7 pcs of the JBL VRX932LA's and I am already being warned its going to run out of gas long before the 650's did

I also have eight KF650 and was advised from Joe Fustolo from EAW that 2 over 2 per side would be the best way to deploy them if flying all eight. We sometimes fly two per side but have never tried to fly all eight. Getting them up in the air would certainly improve the coverage but it takes a bunch of hardware to do that.
