If you are not sure what you are looking for, research canopies first. You may surprised what you actually need and what it may cost.

Undercover has served us well. Under $400 for a 10x10.

ABC Canopy from Amazon is around $300 and included sidewalls and mesh walls. I've had ours for around 4-5 years; it gets used 8-10 times a year and is sill in great shape. The transport/storage bag wore out pretty quickly, but aside from that, the tent itself has been fantastic.
Ironically, the hardware on the ABC has held-up better than our KD stuff did (after massively downsizing operations in 2019, I sold our KD Canopies).

I have an EZ-Up Eclipse 10x15 that I’ve been very happy with. It’s not particularly cheap but not $900 either. It’s held up through several summer storms on a barge in Florida, hence I’m quite impressed with it as any disposable tent would have been torn to pieces. As with everything, you get what you pay for.

The white top of the tent acts as a diffuser, it doesn’t cut the light by enough for me.
I have been using an M32 for outdoor shows and the trick I found to be able to see the indicators on it is I am using a dark blue tarp (blue on one side and gray on the other) that I tie up like a suspended ceiling in the tent, blue side down. It is a 10x10 foot tent and the tarp is 10x8 foot. It cuts down the light in the tent a lot. It is a very cheap tarp from Harbor freight. I have a backup for when this one tears.

We have the same issue. It's somewhat resolved by adding a tarp to the underside of the tent (at the ceiling/head height). We use a tarp that is silver on one side and black on the other. Silver side points up to reflect the rays back to the top of the tent. The black side (pointing down) absorbs light. Our tent is 10' x 10'; the tarp is 10' x 10'. We use bungee cords through the tarp eyelets and attach to the tent frame all the way around. Takes a few minutes to install, but is well worth it. Only draw back is the air space between the silver side of the tarp and the top of the tent (insdie) can get rather hot on sunny days.

In addition to the tarp rigged as a ceiling I used to use a thin white sidewall because where we did a summer concert series the setup had the sun setting to my left. And after a certain time of the day the sun was coming in from the side and it was annoying. The sidewall helped a bit but it too acted as a lighting diffuser and it didn’t let any air in from my left. I usually put the side on in a way that I could move the bottom of it lower and lower as the sun set.
But the people entered to field from my left and I was tired of not being able to see to my left. So a couple of years ago I bought a Sunscreen Fabric Shade Netting 70/80% Shade Cloth Sun Mesh Block. That was 10feet x 6.5feet and it blocked the sun enough that I would still see the screen on the mixer and I could see what was happening to my left and it let the air flow thru it. The only problem I had was on a windy day the netting would bow into the tent but I just used some tie line to minimize that. I was planning on sewing some line thru it but never got around to it.
I guess I have to pick up some of these.

To add to this.
The Sunscreen worked so well for me that I suggested that they get one long enough to hang from the side of the Show Model because for the late afternoon shows we were having problems with the band getting overwhelmed by the heat of the Sun.
The only issue I had was I couldn’t get the Show Model people to say it how much wind it could handle before we had to drop the Sunshade. They said it could handle the weight it was the wind they didn’t know about. I was thinking we should be fine as long as it was a calm day and if we rigged it with the ability to drop it at a moment’s notice. We don’t have sudden wind shear events here. And if it is at all windy then the breeze should negate the need for the Sunshade. We have to drop the roof of the Show Mobile if the wind exceeds 30mph anyway.

You can buy a roof for easy-up from these folks, although not waterproof.
I use their mess inside to reflect some heat, but also to keep flow through the tent.
I am thinking about buying another for a side wall for one event that always cooks us in August.

Undercover has been really great for me.
I bought their UC-3 10'x10' Popup-Shade w/CRS Polyester Wall Enclosure for $300 in 2012, and it has held up well.
It's very durable, yet reasonably lightweight. Has adjustable peak vents, adjustable roof tightness, great side wall design, and an excellent wheeled carry bag.
Lot's of people ask me what brand it is and where I got it.

We went with the Vitabri from eCanopy (https://www.ecanopy.com/vit-v41020vt.html#pdQaImgModal). We were looking for a waterproof 10x20 with the fast fold design for easy/quick setup (not a bunch of poles and pieces). All corner/joints are user replaceable with a cheap rivet tool. We use 50lb shot bags on each corner and havent had an issue with wind yet after 30+ uses.

Sam's Club seems to have gone back to EZ-UP instead of Z-Shade. I picked one up yesterday, I'll find out next week if it'll be durable enough.

It’ll probably depend on which consumer level it was built for. I had a $200 Amazon tent destroyed in about 3 days but have had excellent luck with my current EZ-UP. I think I paid around $600 for it give or take (10x15 Eclipse model).

It says "Commercial" on the box, but I'll find out how true that statement is soon enough. It was at the same $200 price point as the EZ-UP's sold at Sam's 10 years ago, but I'm guessing it's not the same quality. I'm certain that it won't hold up as well as the $600 canopies do. I'll let you know if it proves me wrong!

Given I live and gig in the wind surfing capital of the world... I stand by KD. I've seen too many easy-ups in the dumpster as a mangled mess. One of them mine... Do spec it with the wind relief if you like me deal with high winds.

Another vote for Euromax. My wife bought one two years for use as a vendor at craft festivals. I am very impressed with it for the price and she can get it up and down by herself. It survived at least one storm that flattened quite a few other tents. When the ez-up I have wears out, I will be getting one for myself.

Another vote for 8x8 Eurmax. Besides being straight-legged and sturdy, at reasonable cost you can buy replacement tops in many different colors.

We used our new 10x20 ABC Canopy for the first time this past Saturday and I was impressed. The frame is really sturdy and the top and sidewalls zip together well. We were set up in a corner of a parking lot so we just used the back wall and one side wall to block the street. It did take a little longer to set up being the first time, but that will shorten now that we have the hang of it. And yeah the storage bag is already wearing out, so we'll be looking for some kind of replacement. But the canopy itself looked so good that the venue owner wanted the information so he could order one himself.

I get that reaction every time I set up my Eurmax. The frame is a beast and the canopy looks great. Everyone that has a $100 tent from Wally Mart asks for info..

Check Eurmax direct on Amazon so you can see the description. Their actual eurmax.com website will tell you the difference between the models. The biggest difference is the frame diameter/shapes. The rest of the price difference is really in your preference in the peripheral items. I dont care for the weight bags much but the sides are the real value. My recommendation is get the best frame you can get. The top and sides are all the same quality.

I have an 8x8 Eurmax in Black. One day I missed staking it down soon enough. Wind blew it away and it flipped over twice. Stayed in one piece with hardly a scratch.
