Title: Real-Time Analyzer app - Looking for testers (Android)
Post by: Tyler Mandry on May 27, 2011, 07:34:21 PM
I'm currently making a real-time analyzer application for Android (and webOS) that I'd like to get some experienced live engineers to test. The app is meant to be used by professionals. As a tester, you'll get the bleeding-edge version of the app for free, to play with and use in your work (monitors, FOH, systems, you name it,) and you'll get to provide feedback and help shape the app as it grows, having a big say in what features get put in, etc.

I have been developing this for awhile and have a version ready to test. To be a tester, you currently have to have a phone with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or above. If you're interested, just reply and/or send me a message with your e-mail address, and I'll get you set up.

Mods, I hope this is an acceptable place for this post. I apologize if it isn't.

I just sent you an email.  My DroidX is updated to 2.3.3, and I've registered on Audia Tester and I'm waiting approval.  I'm excited to try your app!!  Just let me know what I need to do next.  Thanks!!
Dana

Are you using the built-in mic on the phone, or is there a way to interface a measurement mic?

Good question. There will be a way to use a measurement mic in the future. If nothing else it will be able to use the mic-level input on your phone. Currently, I'm still working on fleshing out the application itself.
