Title: old Turbosound service spec question
Post by: Dan Richardson on April 21, 2021, 07:06:30 PM
Hey old-timers. Anybody here know what kind of a bulb goes in the crossover of a Turbosound TXD081 or TCS081C?

Do you have a photo of it?

I am offended by anyone using the "old timer" moniker. I am also offended that I was compelled to respond to it. (Guess I am old)...

Ivan is right - a pic would be helpful. Only so many lamps got "off script" HF protection duty. Most common are 24v aviation lamps.

(Were these once used across DC300 terminals as some kind of power monitor? Back in old-timer days?)

The issue is a bunch of crossovers, all with different bulbs. No idea if any of them is OEM. It's the standard G635 bipin, but those come in a million wattages. Haven't found a schematic anywhere that says what's supposed to be in there.
