Post by: Keith Broughton on December 18, 2020, 10:55:22 am

Odd, considering I'm on every day!
So my first thought is phishing scam as there was a link to log on to PSW.
It came from this email addy...

=== update
I opened it and clicked on unsubscribe. that screen looked normal... I just looked at the email raw source and didn't see any funny business there.

That would be a clever hack but IMO unlikely... indeed they don't appear to have a good handle on forum member activity.

Our rule here is that if it looks even slightly fishy, delete and never open an attachment you're not expecting. Those hackers have been keeping super busy and they always seem to start with a friendly looking email.

I think it may be left over from the old days, when they published an actual magazine, and used web for magazine renewals... Clearly not well integrated with a single database.
