Title: Help! Advice on install for v old building/theatre Bose? Function1? Turbosound?
Post by: Alexei Janssen on December 13, 2013, 09:56:04 AM
Hi,

I am restoring an old theatre (was originally sunday school)

here is the project -> www.thehallexeter.org

I need a sound system that is sensitive to the building by being non-intrusive. Usage will be cinema, acoustic music, speech, talks, debates, theatre etc. No all night raves or miced up drum kits.

I was advised to look at the bose system (room match etc) for the size but need some advice on how they will sound. I would really appreciate any help of other suggestions. I have been given some alternatives but they look pretty ugly or are quite big boxes bolted to the side of the wall, however I don't was to go for aesthetic over quality. What are you views?

Here is a google sketch up of the space :

here is a list of the things bose came up with:

MB24 Sub Bass enclosure
BOSE RMU208 Left centre right
Freespace 203 rear surround
CC64 remote control panel
BOSE PowerMatch 8500N (Network)
ESP00 Audio control processor
I/o cards for above
Cinema sound surround cards for processor

Many thanks

Alexei
