I have a show tomorrow and we are using a barco pds 902 3g and running sdi. We have an aja hd10da in the middle the send out signal to a projector and monitor. My problem is when I select 1920x1080@59 hz I get no signal but when I switch to 30 hz, it's fine. I've never had to worry about hz
Is there going to be a problem using the 30 hz or does the aja converters or barco have a setting so I can use 59hz

That's because the AJA HD10DA only supports HD-SDI (and regular SDI, of course.) It does not support 3G SDI. When you're running FHD non-interlaced/59.94/1080p, that's 3G-SDI.
I would just run 29.97 (which you refer to as 30Hz.) There should be no problem if you see a picture out of the projector.

BTW AJA has the 3GDA if you **really** need to run 3G/1080p/59.94.

Thank you, we are running out to a projector and yeah we'll probably go ahead and get the one that does 3g just in case.
