Title: Shure ULXD2 ?
Post by: Mike Santarelli on June 11, 2019, 10:52:50 PM
Anyone know what size torx are used by the selector switch?  They are tiny.

I had one of the positive battery terminals break and trying to repair it first without having to send it in.

"Husky Tools" makes a really nice little multi-bit driver with all the tiny Torx sizes, and a matching driver with all the tiny Phillips and flathead bits.

For what it's worth, I've faced the same issue of wanting to replace those battery terminals, but there's a lot of stuff to remove before you can actually get to them.

I love the Husky branded mini torx and screwdrivers. The torx driver has 8 sizes from T4-T15, and the screwdriver has 4 sizes of phillips from #1 down, and 4 sizes of regular tips. They've been my go-to for years, and while I preferred the older hex handles, the newer round ones are fine too. They're only $6 at Home Depot, so I can't complain.

As for your question, I don't know about the ULXD2, but I had a ULXD1 apart the other day and everything was T6.
