Title: AES Summit, St. Louis
Post by: Lee Buckalew on February 19, 2011, 03:27:53 PM
In one month the 5th annual Central Regional Student Summit will be held at Webster University in St. Louis.
The name is a bit misleading as it is not only for students.

Here's a link to some info.

I should have mentioned that Robert Scovill is the keynote speaker and a featured panelist.

Looks like Doug Fowler will be joining us this year as a presenter as well.

The final schedule should be available at the link I gave early this week.

Lee,

A couple of us went from our church last year, we really enjoyed it.  I downloaded the schedule on Sunday, it seemed to have a lot of blank spots, is that getting updated?  We would really like to see about any H.O.W classes.

Thanks
Mike

As I understand it the schedule is being finalized, not sure if the final version has hit the website yet or not.

Sunday is usually a little light as presenters and students tend to leave by mid day to get back home for Monday.

I know that there is an FCC panel on Sunday at 1:00 that should be quite informative about the effects of some of the most recent TVBD updates.  There's also a location recording panel that may have quite a bit of interest for churches.

Sunday morning seems light but, that's because we don't have panels scheduled to overlap the AES section meeting or the Keynote address by Robert Scovill.

I don't know when they have added Doug Fowlers panel in either.

If there are specific topics that you would like to see addressed, while we may not be able to accommodate that this year, please let us know and we'll try to add those in the future.
