Hello,

im just ordering a pair of SH69,could you stack the sM60 on top or would it cause problems?

Would i be better stacking at the side on a stand angled in away from the stack of SH69/TH115?

The reason for getting the SH69 over the SH50/60 is that i can utilise it more. IE...side or upright.

What are you trying to accomplish?

As with any loudspeaker, it is best not to have overlapping patterns.  Especially with different model loudspeakers.

WHile each one have a nic smooth phase response in and of itself-the phase responses may not be the same between different models.

This will result in cancellations in the overlap areas.

If the coverage is not overlaping-then there is not as big a deal with the different phase response.

Yes some freq may get louder-but others will get quieter.

In any situation, a single louder loudspeaker is always prefered to multiple quieter ones.

It would work much better that way-assuming the sides are hard packed against each other.  It they are side by side and facing the same direction-the same problem would exist.

Now down where the boxes lose pattern control may be a different issue-depending on the particular phase response of the cabinets.
