I'm confused. It appeared that you were the OP, but now it looks like Tim is looking for help and you're just answering him? This thread is strange.

   I was trying to find out if anyone has used these mics on a piano and what their overall Impressions were thank you

The last time I had to mic up an acoustic piano the KSM's hadn't been put on the marlet yet. I would imagine they will work just fine. I've used stuff from 57's to wireless lav's (piano had to move) to PCC160's to Neumann U87's.

The thing I've found is that getting a good piano sound is much more about mic location than it is about the mic itself.
