But somehow OSHA never bothers farmers -and that's where you find quite a bit of homebuilt electrical of that quality.

IIRC, OSHA only looks at businesses with more than 10 employees.  Even the big corporate farms around here manage to have enough legal entities that they can keep the employee count of any of them under 10.  Just have to know how to play the game :).

If you plugged 28 chargers into that, you'd trip a breaker-or start a fire if the breaker wasn't sized correctly!

At least there's a nice big spot in the middle that you can step on to hold it in place when you pull the plug out.  Just wear proper workboots...

Hmmm.   Looks like the wiring has been overloaded already.  Check the formerly white wire at the bottom of the frame - it looks like it's discolored from heat.
