Post by: jimdrake on April 29, 2011, 03:16:03 AM
hi,

i wonder if anyone has suggestions for teleprompter software to run lyrics for a show.

is it possible to have software that will automatically scroll through the lyrics along with the show playback?

thanks, james.

There are various VST-plugins, if you're running the tracks off a DAW, that serve as a notepad. Some can be automated to scroll or swap pages by the host in time with the track.

In the Reaper community there's Schwa's "Track Notepad" which is a small free plug-in. Don't know how well it works with other hosts and I can't test it myself because unfortunately it doesn't work with the x64 version of Reaper. It supports scrolling by host automation. Don't know about fonts and text sizes, though.

There' also ProXL VSTNotes. There's a free version and a paid version. The paid version supports page changes by MIDI Notes. Can be found here:
