Got to see and play with a mac aura over the weekend. i really liked the zoom feature and the colors. decently bright.
Is there anything similar to this moving head wash that has a zoom by other people? Blizzard doesnt make anything so im looking elsewhere.

They look really cool. I won't near it, much like anything lighting-related in our shop, but it's a pretty serious fixture.

No more than 2k a fixture. Maybe less. 1k woukd be ideal.
The blizzard blades looks great and a cheap..but they don't have a focus. I prefer a sharp beam if possible.

Chauvet qwash 360z (or whatever their current product is...I know those are a couple years old) aren't bad and are under $2k/fixture

I think those are discontued already. Maybe I should be looking for a beam moving head. The washes look great but they don't look as sharp since they have no focus. I dont think the mac aura does either though.

It's a wash fixture. ie. soft-edged beam. Like a fresnel. It does zoom though, so it can be a wide wash or a narrow wash, but it will always have a soft edge.
Maybe what you are looking for is the Sharpy by Clay Paky? Or the many variants thereof?

Blizzard Lighting just came out with something very similar called the Northstar SPEC-Z but it has not shown up on their website other than a video for it.

beam fixtures typically don't color mix...
If you're looking for a fixture with a tight, sharp beam then you want a beam fixture
If you're looking for a fixture that color mixes, zooms and is a little more 'fluffy' beam wise, you want a wash

For a wash I have a few of these. Unbelievably bright, has zoom, etc.

It's at the top end of your budget, but have a good look at the Robe Robin 300LED wash. Huge zoom range (15-60*), quad chip LED, pixel rings etc.
Really awesome looking fixture!

Also, as someone else mentioned- Blizzard does in fact make an LED wash with zoom. Let me know if you'd like pricing info.
This should tell you everything you need to know about the blizzard fixture:
