Title: New Stage Roof
Post by: Curt Sorensen on June 23, 2015, 07:17:54 PM
Hi,
I came across a new stage roof design today and welcome any comments. I have no involvement with this. Hope my photos offer enough detail to get started. See them here:

New to this approach, hope it works,

Thanks,

It looks like really versatile stuff, but I've heard it's a real pain to put together.

There have been some really cool one-off designs out of it, though.

Great stuff but really expensive. Comes in aluminum or steel sections in a 6" or 12" size in lengths from 1' square to 10' long.  You can laminate (bolt the beams together along their length) sections for more weight loading.

Regular 12x12 truss can bolt to it and the 6" truss can also bolt to the 12". Can be powdered coated.

Tinker Toys for big boys! You can build almost anything you can think of.
