Title: Suggested changes
Post by: Dan Johnson on January 10, 2011, 01:07:40 PM
It was really nice on the old forum to be able to see the posting date of the original post in a thread rather than just the date of the last post in a thread (when viewing the list of threads in a particular forum).  Obviously all the threads were started fairly recently right now but down the road it would be nice to easily see when the origin of the thread is years old without having to view the actual thread to find that information.

I actually prefer flat view but it was nice on the old site that each post had a number and each reply in a thread showed which post number it was a reply to.  That way, if people don't quote the post they are replying to, it's possible to figure out who they are actually replying to.

It would also be nice to have unread topics be bold again, instead of having a little graphic next to them that says "new".

How do I insert an inline image in this software? When I try to post an image it tells me it has failed security checks, what does that mean? After I posted, it did not return me to the thread I was in.

Seems some have problems with attachments. I haven't had any problems, let me try again...

What I can't seem to figure out is aparently there is no way to insert an image anywhere other than at the END of your post... so if you wanted to insert it inbetween text, its not possible... unless i'm missing some option...
