Title: T.C. Helicon VoiceSolo?

Has anyone used these?  I'm particularly interested in the unpowered model, for potential use for vox only by a part-time bar band.

I heard it at InfoComm. It's about like a HotSpot... Since there's no EQ on it, I can't imagine how you'd get useful gain before feedback out of it. I also found it lacking in high frequency reproduction capability, which I consider essential for cutting through stage noise.

However, I'm not a performer, I'm just used to the monitors I like. If it works for you, great, it's certainly a simple solution. I only heard the powered version.
