Title: Sensaphonics/Shure compatibility question
Post by: Luke Boegel on May 12, 2020, 09:59:50 AM
About 8 years ago, I purchased a set of custom, half-shell, molded sleeves and Shure SE425 iems in a package deal from Sensaphonics. The SE425s just failed this weekend.

I am considering purchasing the SE535 iems to replace my 425s. Does anyone know if the 535s will fit properly in the 425 sleeves that I already have? . . . or will my sleeves only work with 425s?

I tried to contact Sensaphonics, but I haven’t heard back. Communication must be slow because of lockdown measures. The Shure rep I spoke with was reluctant to commit to an answer. I’m hoping there’s a monitor engineer here that can help me.

Thanks.

Update: Sensaphonics replied soon after my post.

FYI: They are interchangeable.
