Title: WSM and custom frequency groups
Post by: Brad Harris on February 02, 2021, 03:22:25 PM
Hi All,

Having issues today with specifying custom groups for a bunch (14) of G4IEM for a permanent install... The issue is trying to setup custom groups on the units via WSM (rather than having the end user manually entering new frequencies and manage a list of numbers).

I can type in frequencies (21 total over 2 user groups), but I cannot seem to NOT include certain channel frequencies. ie, (G/CH) U2/6-16 still show up ... and ideally I'd have U1/1-14 and U2/1-7 as my User group choices.

In the WSM software (offline mode, common properties) I can change the frequency lists, and even choose "---" as a frequency, it doesn't seem to upload it. No avail with 4.4 and 4.5 WSM, as well as various methods of entering/confirming the "---" (ie, TAB to the next cell, ENTER/RETURN, etc).

Also, somehow, I've lost a few channels during this process as well ... (ie, U2/10 is missing from the list on some units).

Going back further to the Device Manager and editing in there also produces similar results.

Consulted the Manuals (G4IEM and WSM), but they don't mention much regarding this ...

Thanks!

Brad
