Title: Anyone identify who makes these subs
Post by: Gary Weller on August 05, 2019, 12:08:16 PM
I saw these from a picture at a local fair for the main stage. There is a marking on the lower left side of the bottom sub, but couldn't tell what it is. Anyone know or are they a proprietary design?

I think the markings are just scuffs from being kicked around.

Could be anything. If you liked them, it might be worth striking up conversation.

I agree there are no markings on the front.  There does appear to be a marking routes in on the sides of the boxes.  They are either production boxes or well made customs.

Looks like Audio Visions, out of Omaha. Those subs are proprietary, and they work really well.

Looks like the letters "A V" routed into the cabinet.  Not specific enough for a google search to be helpful...

I vote home brew. Which doesn't mean they are bad by any means. In fact it looks like they went the extra mile to have custom grill covers built.

Confirming those are proprietary from Audio Visions.  They may be based on the SB1000, which Audio Visions owned a bunch of at one time.

What was the PA?  They've recently gotten a new Adamson rig they used for a 6 show run with Cardi B....

I was definitely thinking the boxes look like two SB1000s joined at the hip.

I wasn't at the show, out of Omaha makes sense due to the proximity of the fair about 3 hours from there. Thanks for the info guys.
