Title: How to Attach two JBL AM4212 cabinets together in an array?
Post by: Sam Ponjican on March 13, 2013, 01:27:42 PM
We've got JBL AM4212/95's hung from MTU-3 U-brackets hanging from the ceiling in our church. The room is long from front to back, and the 90 x 50 dispersion horn leaves a dead spot near the front and back and a hot spot from rows 3-10.
We'd like to take a second set of the 4212's we have on hand and simply mount them beneath the ones hanging from the MTU-3 to double the width but can't find any guidance on coupling the cabinets with attachment brackets, etc.
Should I just have some steel brackets fabricated with the correct hole size for the M10 mounting hardware? Do they need to span the side of the cabinets?
Looking for some more experienced folks to help steer us in the right direction!
