I am looking for work as an A1, sound designer, associate sound designers, or some combination of those three for the 2011 summer stock season.
I will be entering a BFA program in theatre design next fall (BU). I have served as sound engineer for hundreds of performances for regional professional theatre (I stopped counting a while ago) over the course of the past several years and I have a few dozen sound designer credits on professional and community theatre productions. I have experience with a broad range of digital and analogue consoles, RF coordination, and most major software applications involved with sound design (Protools, Peak, etc) and playback (QLab, SFX, Matrix3, etc).
I am primarily interested in positions in the Northeast although I am open to opportunities from elsewhere in the country. Positions should be paying and include room although I am pretty open to varying levels of compensation depending on how interesting the company looks. I am available full time from mid-May through the end of June.
