I have an EV ZLX-12P that is out of warranty. There is a buzzing sound in/around 200hz. Not noticeable at other frequencies.
EV tech support is recommending a replacement of the amp module for $209/plus shipping.
Anyone else have a better solution or idea of what is going on?

Could be a lose compression driver, this isn't an uncommon problem in many PA speakers. I don't know if it's a bolt-on or screw-on in these cabs but if the box is out of warranty you may as well open it up, any other fastener is suspect too as is everything on the amp module and don't forget to check the grill too.

Does it buzz when turned on with nothing connected to the speaker or is the buzz only heard when playing music through it with a little volume to it?
If it puts out a buzzing sound when turned on with no audio input, most likely the amp module.
If the buzz is associated with audio signal like Paul said check for things that are loose in and on the speaker, beat around on the speaker, one loose screw can cause a lot of noise sometimes.
Tap on the speaker cone does it sound solid or have a klinky ring to it. Push on the cone some do you hear a rubbing sound?
Look in the cabinet and see if there is anything up against or really close to the speaker cone.
