Title: Mackie Pro DX8 any good?
Post by: Tim Weaver on August 13, 2019, 12:22:15 PM
I could use a small footprint mixer like this. Wondering if anyone has one and how it's holding up for you.

Would be used for a keyboard, acoustic, and 3 vocal mics. In a kids room on Sundays. I like the idea that most of the controls are hidden, but they can still have a basic volume control.

Crud. It seems that the 8 channel is NLA anywhere. Nevermind.

I just bought one of these from ProAudioStar for $200 (B-Stock). It's brand new and everything works flawlessly.

Eh. The tiny footprint and lack of controls was the selling point for me.

I'll probably end up with an XRsomething. It will be too many channels and require a place to put it, but oh well. They seem to be the mackie 1202 of the digital age!
