just heard that the denon c200 5 disc cd changer has been discontinued. this is disappointing as I spec them in alot of the churches I do. anyone have a good recommendation for another rack mountable multi disc cd changer?

Wait, some people still use CD players? :P
They're much easier for non-technical staff, but I can't imagine not having a computer in the booth for general audio playback anymore.

Disappointing.
I don't know of any other that come rackmountable, stock; but I know Middle Atlantic will rackmount anything for you, complete with trim kit. Something to consider.
Otherwise, Tascam makes a couple of single disc models you might consider; there's one with an integral iPod dock (don't know the pin-out; I'm guessing 30-pin), and another with an integral bluetooth receiver.

It seems like every rack-mountable 5 disc changer that I knew of has been discontinued.
Which is just as well. I've had more service calls for CD player troubles in the last few years than everything else combined.
And when an ipod is cheaper than the CD player repair bill plus shipping it's hard to justify CD players anymore.
For applications where they have a rotation of users who want to bring in their own set of music we've used http://www.rolls.com/product.php?pid=MP322 with some success.. it'll play MP3s from a USB stick or SD card
