Title: WSM Unable to Obtain Remote Access

Hi All,

i am trying to perform a frequency scan with Sennheiser WSM, but cannot get the software to send commands to the receiver unit. i am running ew3oo g3 receivers with a variety of firmwares from 1.7.0 to 1.7.7. i can receive information from the units (battery, RF level, AF level), but each time i try to run the scan i get the error "unable to obtain remote access". i have tried from both windows and mac computers with the same result. i am running WSM4.4.3 on either windows 7 or mac os high serria 10.13.3.

any ideas anyone?

Have you enabled " remote access" from "system" at the top left of the screen?

I think they made it that way so you don't accidentally take over a receiver that is active.
