Pierce Audio Products has had the 21" for some time and are working on 32" subs for some night clubs.

So has Carvin, Yorkeville and others.   Strike 2 for you.  I suggest you go read the vendor policy or you will have a very short career here.  Vendor trolling is not tolerated.

My apologies if you are not related.

That seems like a nice one. I have had very good results with their 18" neo woofers. Very smooth, extended upper bass (if asked for!) and deep, articulate lows, IMHO.

I have 4 15NDH-4S 15" Ciare woofers and they sound great.

No you aren't you are plugging your product.  There are clear rules for the vendors, it has nothing to do with what you can contribute and everything to do with you jumping on a post and posting a link to your company.

BTW, when you come into a new room you should check out just who is already there.  Tom Danley, Ken Berger and Uli Behringer are active participants.

Ciare is now owned by 18Sound, so unless the OP is their dealer, i fail to see how is he pushing his own product.

hey, no I think it was Mr Pierce who brought up (what I assume are) his own companies 21" driver.

We have manufacturers from almost every area of the industry represented here David, and the problem is if we were to let them come on and plug their own products every time someone mentioned the words mixing desk or loudspeaker, we'd quickly be drowned in a sea of adverts. The moderators are forced to take a zero tolerance attitude to combat this and it does provide a much better level of discussion.

If someone asks a question about your specific product, of course you are allowed to provide an answer, or any helpful information you can. But it has to be them that asks and it has to be your specific brand and product, you're not able to bring up your own products just because someone has mentioned a related brand or a matching product for a different company.

It's not to say anyone is trying to silence you or end your career as you put it, just keep the forum a much more enjoyable place to be.

Oh, my bad.

Yes I quoted Mr. Pierce and was just giving him a quick heads up before a moderator noticed.  He was the only person my comment was directed to.

His retort was classic, these troll creatures exist in almost every industry and if you let just one in the door you might as well just put out the for sale sign on the forum.

I have been moderating since the dial up BBS days in the early 80's.  Very few truly pristine, well moderated places are still left.  This is one of them.
